We are in the midst of a battle, one that is being fought over the occupation of our hands and what we fill them with while making calls, searching online and using apps. This nascent battle erupted into a full-scale war when smart phones were introduced to the marketplace, causing consumers to scramble for their favorite touchscreen phones and scoff at the competitors.

A creative and talented animator came up with the idea to create the Phonewars saga, depicting the top cell phones of today dueling it out with light sabers and the arsenal of weapons at their disposal. Who do you think will win? The iPhone holds a firm grasp on the market, but Android and Blackberry are coming on strong. It seems that phone technology is constantly evolving, and consumers can barely take a breath before the next big thing hits the market.

Seriously, this video is really entertaining, from the action to the audio. The creator, Cyrus Mir, makes me want to learn how to do computer animations. Now, I can’t wait to see his next installment of Phonewars. I just hope no one’s screen gets cracked, because we all know how much of a disaster that is.
